Launch Story

Since high school, I have been interested in the genre of games called “interactive fiction,” having played Galatea, Violet and Anchorhead, among others. While I have a deep respect for these works, I often found myself unable to solve the simplest puzzles, due to the vast number of possible inputs with the text parser. With this piece, I wanted to explore the simplest type of interactive story, a branching pathway. As well, I have tried to create what feel like living set pieces that are altered by players’ choices.
