A self portrait assembled from fragments and echoes of mass media.
Evening of Humor & Anxiety
"Inspired by the work of Barbara Kruger, Wayne Koestenbaum, and K. Silem Mohammad, the poems that comprise 'An Evening of Humor & Anxiety' are comprised of rearranged magazine cutouts. The text and images explore themes of gay adolescence and urban nightlife, creating somewhat of a self portrait from re-coded mass media."--Anthony Bastone
