Blossoming Dust
A confluence between photographs—taken during study years in Latvia, United States, and Italy—and text generated from author’s spiritual seekings—both scholarly and lived—, “blossoming dust” is a meditation on time, aspiration, disappointment, and reconciliation.
Final project for Allyson Paty’s “Writing for Confluence” tutorial (spring 2016). Three images from this series appear in The Gallatin Review, volume 31, 2016, and one of them—titled “Latvia, 2015″—was awarded a Gallatin Writing Program Prize for Visual Art.
