This song is an interpretation of Dare to be Wrong: The Teaching of Judith Leibowitz, edited by Kathryn Miranda (Mornum Time Press, 2007). Leibowitz was leading teacher of Alexander Technique, and quotations from the book form the basis of the song’s lyrics.

“Dare to be Wrong” was originally created for Nina Katchadourian’s fall 2015 Proseminar in the Arts, “Why Do You Want to Make It, and How Can You Make It Better?”
