let’s talk about the weather
have you noticed a change
drawing clouds during class
sun shining on my face

trees glisten in the rain
reflecting moonlight till it stains
birds chirp but not a song
sound like your name and lasts too long

a pond full of moss
takes over like the sad part of loss
the water won’t clear till I see through the tears
but animals still live here

gps blares through traffic
directions to space
boundaries far past geographic
vast lands & skies with clouds that resemble your face

roots spread as wide as i am willing to go high
spaceship will soar
with no land in sight
where will i go
