The classic garment, re-conceived.
White T: Repetition
I was given the design element of “Repetition” when it came to reimagining the white t-shirt. I instantly thought of pleats, as it’s a repetitious design element that is commonly used with fabric. I wanted a shirt that felt current and modern, yet historical as well; my thought was that history always repeats itself, so therefore the shirt should a allude to design trends of the past. This is what gave way to the tank top that incorporated the pleated collar and hem. Modern meets traditional: a design practice I always live by.
