“A few months before I created this piece, I started doodling curved lines that intersected and departed from one another at different points. As I turned them into a larger and more three-dimensional work, I began to see an inextricable link between the lines and natural landscapes, the topography of the earth, and ocean currents, and more broadly, life, movement, time, and change.
